Japanese American Pioneers in Box Elder County: Curating the Exhibit in the Brigham City Museum
The public is invited to come hear our panelists discuss the creation of the exhibit now showing at the Brigham City Museum of Art and History, “Uncovering the Journey: Japanese American Pioneers in Box Elder County”, on Thursday, 20 Mar 2025 at 7 p.m. The panel discussion will take place at the Brigham City Library, 26 E. Forest Street. Panelists include: Alyssa Kammerman, professional Oral Historian; Alana Blumenthal, Director of the Brigham City Museums; and Gerald Shigemi Nisogi, a Brigham City native and a Box Elder High School alumnus. Panelists will discuss the stages and various aspects of the creation of the exhibit on Japanese American Pioneers in Box Elder County. There will be time for Q&A from the audience. A Zoom Webinar is also available for those not able to attend in-person.
