The Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art in Logan will host an evening of art discussion with artist Jim Mangan on Thursday April 9th at 5:30 p.m. in the Russell/Wannlass Performance Hall, followed by a reception in the museum.

Celebrate NEHMA’s newest exhibition, Jim Mangan: The Crick, with an evening of discussion featuring artist Jim Mangan. Discover his photographic series documenting young men from the FLDS town of Short Creek, located along the Utah-Arizona border. Mangan will be joined by writer Judith Freeman and Short Creek community member Roman Bateman as they dive into the ways that Mangan’s photography and written storytelling illuminate both realities and imagined stories of this marginalized part of the contemporary American West.
