Kitturu Rani Chennamma

- A life lived with courage and dignity in the face of profound tragedy.

A solo production in Bharatanatyam by @jyothsnasainath created with choreographer par excellence @maya__kulkarni.

Queen Chennamma of Kitturu, a South Indian principality lived in the early 1800s. She chose to defy British colonial advances in spite of great heartbreak in her own life.

Dance, music, spoken word and multimedia content are brought to bear to narrate this complex story from turbulent times.
