Latter-day Saint Earth Stewardship Children’s Art Show 2024 - Submissions Wanted
Latter-day Saint Earth Stewardship (LDSES) will be hosting a children’s art show in conjunction with its Fall Forum on Nov. 2, 2024.
This year the theme of the forum and art show is “This Beautiful World: Preserving our Planet for Future Generations”
Submissions will be displayed on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 5 to 8pm in the Lakeview Room of the Fulton Library at Utah Valley University (800 W University Pkwy, Orem, UT 84058). Artwork from anyone under the age of 18 is being accepted.
Artwork can be submitted to be displayed in one of three ways:
1) In person on an easel provided by UVU. Artwork must be a size and medium that can reasonably fit on an easel (we will update you on the size of the easels when we get that information). Art being displayed in person must be set up at 4pm on Nov. 2 in the Fulton library and picked up by 8:30 pm that evening.
2) Printed on an 11x14 foam board and displayed on an easel. Art files will need to be submitted by Oct. 12, 2024. A $20 fee is required to help cover the printing costs. Printed foam boards will be kept by LDSES after the event unless other arrangements are made.
3) Digitally on a TV screen in the Lakeview Room of the library. Art files will need to be submitted by Oct. 12, 2024.
Liability:
Please note that LDSES does not have any liability insurance for artwork. A best faith effort will be made to protect all pieces, but LDSES does not retain any liability for damaged work.
