Silent Disco
Silent Disco
As thousands of Utah State University graduates prepare to toss their caps this week, the City of Logan and Logan Parks & Recreation are inviting the community to keep the celebration going. On Friday, May 1st, the Carol and Jim Laub Plaza will transform into a high-energy, open-air dance floor for a Free Silent Disco Party.
The event, which runs from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, is perfectly timed to serve as the ultimate after-party for USU’s 139th Commencement and college convocations. Graduates, their families, and friends are encouraged to head downtown to 55 N. Main Street for a night of music, dancing, and local celebration.
A silent disco allows participants to listen to live DJ sets through wireless, LED-lit headphones. With multiple channels to choose from, guests can switch between different musical genres, ensuring everyone from recent grads to visiting grandparents finds their groove.
Event Highlights:
- Cost: Completely FREE and open to all ages.
- Hydration: Free refreshments provided by the Raising Cane’s Hydration Station.
- Vibe: Three live audio channels powered by Beat Hive.
- Location: The heart of downtown Logan at the Laub Plaza (55 N. Main St.).
Graduation is a monumental milestone for our students and our city. The Silent Disco at Laub Plaza congratulates the Aggies and provides a fun, safe, and memorable space for families to celebrate together in the heart of the community they've called home.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, as headphone quantities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, follow @laubplazalogan or @loganparksandrec on Instagram.
