In a press release Wednesday morning from Yellowstone National Park officials, it was determined that missing hiker, 67-year-old Mark O’ Neill from Chimacum, Washington, succumbed to hypothermia.
O'Neill and his brother, 74-year-old Kim Crumbo of Ogden, were reported late in returning from a four-night backcountry camping trip in the park. O'Neill's body was recovered on September 20th.
The search for Crumbo has transitioned from a rescue search to a recovery mission.
