Social Media Post Made By A Utah School Board Member Is Under Investigation

A social media post about LGBTQA+ youth is being investigated by the Utah State School Board.

A post made by Utah State School Board member, Natalie Cline, showed a sign hung up in a Latter-day Saint seminary building that said, “If you are LGBTQA+ welcome to seminary”.

Cline shared a picture of the sign with a message that said, “Time to make some phone calls,” and, “The world is too much with us”.

The post has now been deleted and the Utah State School Board announced on Tuesday that the post is being reviewed.

The incident occured at the seminary building at Layton High School. The seminary program is a private institution of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and allows students to attend classes during the school day on a release program.
