Loaves and Fishes to Resume Modified Food Distribution
Loaves and Fishes Community Meal is thrilled to annunce its slightly modified return. In accordnace with the governor's moderate risk phase, they will prepare a to-go style family meal with contact-less delivery on Saturday, May 16th from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. (or until they run out of meals). Meals will be distrubuted at the First Presbyterian Church on 200 W Center Street. They ask that those picking up enter the church parking lot from 200 W. Your meals will be loaded in to your trunk, and then you will exit onto Center Street. Distanced pickup for those on foot will be available on the west side of the church (200 W.). Utah State University Virtual Town Hall
Friday, April 17 2020 from 10-11 a.m., President Noelle Cockett invites students, faculty, and staff at USU campuses across the state to learn the latest about how the university is addressing challenges from COVID-19 and ask their own questions to leadership. Intermountain has also launched an Emotional Relief Hotline to help people who are struggling with their mental well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic. It offers guidance, tools, and referrals free of charge 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week. The phone number is 833-442-2211.

USDA Rural Development has launched a COVID-19 resource page to provide updates on actions taken by the Agency to help rural residents, businesses, and communities impacted by the outbreak. Logan City has received Community Development Block Grants (CDBG-CV) funding from the CARES Act to be used to precent, prepare for, and respond to the coronavirus pandemic. This funding will be used to support critical community services during this pandemic. Community partners, including local government, non-profit, faith-based and for-profit organizations are invited to apply for CARES Act supplemental CDBG-CV finding to address COVID-19 related needs.
