According to the National Eating Disorder Association, eating disorders have the highest mortality rate of any mental illness. The group is focused on early intervention in an effort to save lives.

As part of the Utah Public Radio Kitchen Sisters project, survivors of eating disorders share their stories of addiction, recovery and renewal.
