Police in Logan spent several hours Monday night negotiating a stand-off. A traffic stop on 400 North and Main Street at a 7-11 convenience store parking lot ended with a Nibley man turning himself over to officers.
Logan Police Captain Tyson Budge said David D'Addabbo was pulled over for a traffic violation.
Budge said at the time of the stand-off, officers had reason to believe the Nibley man was armed. D'Abbabbo has a history of threatening to engage police in a shoutout. After nearly two hours of negotiating with D'Addabbo over the phone, the man agreed to turn himself over to Cache County Sheriff Chad Jensen.
D'Addabbo has been issued a citation for forged registration and failure to obey the command of a police officer. Police searched the vehicle and found a loaded gun and ammunition. The truck has been impounded.
