An alcohol regulatory agency in Utah has granted a Logan business a bar establishment license, making it the first new bar in the county not attached to a restaurant in about 30 years.
The Herald Journal reported that the Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control granted the license to The Cache Venue on Tuesday. Co-owner Mark Lunt said they began renovating the space after COVID-19 restrictions caused them to shutdown. He expects to reopen by the end of the month. The last full-service liquor license not attached to a restaurant in Cache County was for the 3114 Aerie in 1991.
