Weather officials in Utah have issued a warning to be aware of slick roads after Wasatch Front received snow for the first time this season over the weekend.
The Deseret News reported that the National Weather Service in Salt Lake City warned people in a Twitter post on Sunday to be aware of ice and slippery surfaces under heavy patches of snow through Monday. The agency estimated that there would be periods of snow across the northern and central Wasatch Front metropolitan region in the north-central part of the state. Most residents reported a dusting of snow, while some in Bountiful received up to 5 inches.
