The left-leaning policy group Alliance for a Better Utah is calling for the resignations of Utah Congressman Christ Stewart and Burgess Owens after the two men objected to counting the electoral votes from Pennsylvania on Wednesday. In a press release issued on Thursday, the groups stated that by voting to object to those election results, Owens and Stewart have “proven just how far they’re willing to go in order to hold on to power.” The group stated that this is the kind of behavior that led to the violence at the nation’s capitol on Wednesday.
