Nine Utah Cities Rank Among Top 20 For Best Places In US To Start A Small Business

Utah cities dominate a new list by WalletHub that analyzed the best small cities in the United States to start a business.WalletHub compared more than 1,300 cities that have fewer than 100,000 residents. In order to accurately make the list, each city was measured on 20 different metrics, including financing accessibility, human resource availability, office space prices, labor costs, investor access and more.

 

St. George tops the list, with Cedar City following closely behind at #2. They’re followed by Washington City (#4), Logan, (#5), Midvale (#7), Clearfield (#9), Pleasant Grove (#15), Lehi (#18) and Orem (#19).

 

18 more of Utah’s small cities were listed in the top 100 on WalletHub’s site, including Tooele (#30), Draper (#32) and Spanish Fork (#34).
