No Signs Of Brian Laundrie After Days Of Searching

Search teams have found no signs of Gabby Petito’s boyfriend, Brian Laundrie, in a Florida wilderness park where they have spent days searching. Laundrie is officially a person of interest in the case, and he may be the only person who’s able to give answers on what happened to Petito. The outdoor search includes thousands of acres of swampy, subtropical terrain filled with alligators, snakes, bobcats and many other wild creatures. There are more than 100 miles of hiking trails, plus numerous camping areas and rivers.

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office brought in a diver unit called SURF, or Sheriff's Underwater Recovery Force, to advance the search. The sheriff’s office says these recovery divers are “highly-trained deputies” who work in the most difficult environments imaginable.

The FBI is seeking information from anyone who may have seen Petito or Laundrie in the Grand Teton area, or anywhere else nationally.
