JP Jofre Hard Tango Band
The JP Jofre Hard Tango Chamber Band, started by bandoneonist and composer Juan Pablo (J.P.) Jofre, focuses on Jofre’s original works and authentic interpretations of legendary composer Astor Piazzolla. Jofre has been highlighted several times by the New York Times, and praised by Lincoln Center, who called him “one of today’s leading tango artists.” The band performs Tuesday September 9 at 7:30 in the Russell/Wanlass Performance Hall.
