The performance will take place outdoors on Saturday, Oct. 25, at 11am and 3pm in Snow Canyon State Park. Crossing Open Ground will be conducted by acclaimed violist and conductor Nadia Sirota. The performance features section leaders — powerhouse musicians from across the U.S. — Sidney Hopson (percussion), Laura Cocks (winds), and C.J. Camerieri and Trever Hagen (brass), joined by 36 local student and faculty musicians from Utah Tech University. Movement will be staged by internationally acclaimed choreographer Dimitri Chamblas, who is based in Paris and Los Angeles.
