The Southwest Symphony and St George Chamber Singers present Mozart's Requiem on Friday March 27th and Saturday March 28th at 7:30 p.m at Desert Hills High School.
It's an evening with one of the most powerful works ever written: Mozart’s Requiem. Mysterious, dramatic, and deeply moving, this masterpiece remains one of the most compelling experiences in all of classical music. The St. George Chamber Singers and incredible soloists Madison Leonard, Aubrey Adams-McMillan, Shea Owens, and Thomas Glenn join the orchestra to bring this extraordinary work to life.
The first half will feature Suppé’s lively Poet & Peasant Overture, Florence Price’s heartfelt Adoration, and selected movements from John Rutter’s The Gift of Life, with Mozart’s final masterpiece completing the program.

Audiences will be thrilled and inspired by beloved hymns, soul-filling original compositions, and magnificent selections from Handel’s Messiah.

Musical Spring: a two-part concert in North Indian classical music is in the Leona Wagner Blackbox Theatre in Salt Lake City on Saturday April 4th at 7:00 p.m. The performance includes a bowing-instrument called Sarangi played by NY-based Rohan Misra and the Tabla by Utah artist Debanjan Bhattacharjee. Tickets are available through Salt Lake County Arts.
