We're excited to invite you all to Northern Utah Pollinator Week 2023! Pollinator Week is a national event with local groups celebrating with events dedicated to helping our communities learn about and support pollinators. We have put together a really fun week of events with dedicated topics that are free, hands-on, informative, creative, open to all ages! Topics include:
• Trees as a pollinator source and creating habitats for pollinators
• Care and keeping of honey bees
• Native Plants in your landscape
• Integrated Pest Management
• Night adventures with bats and pollinators (Class is Full now, no more seats available)
• Our pollinator parks and creating your own pollinator paradise.
We have hands-on workshops, hikes, tours, discussions. Two of our local nurseries, Cache Valley Nursery and Freckle Farm will host special events. Slide Ridge Honey will teach us all about the care and keeping of honey bees - plus provide vinegar and honey tastings. We are hosting several of our events at our pollinator parks for hands-on workshops, presentations. Have you taken a tour of USU's Campus Forest, visited the Herbarium, or learned about the Bee Lab?
