Layton Hills Mall Celebrates Utah’s Cultural Heritage with “Many Stories, One Utah”
The beat of Taiko drums, the rhythm of Puerto Rican Bomba, and the grace of traditional folk dance will fill Center Court as Layton Hills Mall presents the Utah Cultural Heritage Celebration: Many Stories, One Utah. The free, family-friendly event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, from 3:30–6:30 p.m. and will feature live performances, craft vendors, hands-on activities, and food trucks.
Timed with October’s national heritage observances, the celebration highlights the traditions and stories that continue to shape our community.
Event highlights include:
Kenshin Taiko (Japanese drumming ensemble)
Megan Blue (Powerhouse Soul, Funky-Blues Spark)
Bomba Marilé (Puerto Rican drumming & dance)
Oaxaca en Utah (traditional Oaxacan folk dance)
Cultural Welcome Board recognizing participating communities and groups.
