Utah Scottish Festival and Highland Games
Enjoy 3 days full of Scottish-themed fun watching bagpiping competitions, highland athletics competitions, and highland dancing competitions, with a chance to explore Scottish heritage though clan tents and vendors. Plus performances from The Wicked Tinkers, Men of Worth, The Fiddle Preacher and the Dame of Drones.
This year’s piping competitions feature competitions for bands and soloists from across the Western United States competing in grades 1-5.
Fans of heavy athletics will be be treated to watching the National Sheaf Toss Competition at our event, featuring some of the top competing athletes in the U.S. Additionally there will be competitions in fan favorites such as the caber toss, hammer throw, braemar stone, and more.
Highland dancing competitions will have a variety of competitors of many ages and skill levels competing in one of the oldest forms of folk dance. A variety of dances will be highlighted, including popular favorites the sword dance, seann triubhas, and highland fling.
In between catching competitions, learn more about Scottish clans and family heritage at one of the clan booths throughout the festival grounds, peruse Celtic and Scottish wares from our vendors, watch Irish dance performances, music performances or catch one of the headliners on the main stage.
Three days for the price of one with a single $25 ticket for all three days. Children 11 and under are free.
