Including works of collage, photography, painting, printmaking, and sculpture, theexhibition explores women's self-expression and their contributions to the global art scene. Itincludes pieces by local and international modern and contemporary artists and highlights recentefforts to diversify NEHMA's collection

Local artists invite the public to visit their studios for the Spring Cache Studio Art tour. Six studios will be open to the public, with multiple artists on-site at each studio. Demonstrations will be given at most studios throughout the day, and artists will have their artwork on display and available for sale. Art forms include pottery, fused glass, jewelry, polymer clay, fiber arts, painting, holiday cards, and more.
This year’s participating studios are located from Avon to North Logan. Studios include Carole Warburton, Juniper Moon Studios (Avon); K and Kerri Rasmussen, Rasmussen Pottery Backyard Studio (Hyrum); Lori Nawyn, Huckleberry Moose (Hyrum); Cindy Roberts, Cody Sky Fine Arts (downtown Logan); Gayle Knapp, Keletica Designs (North Logan); and Dana Worley Fused Glass Designs (North Logan).
The event is being held May 3 & 4. Studios will be open from 10 AM to 7 PM both Friday and Saturday.
On May 3rd, Saturday, at Mountain View Village in Riverton there will be a Hispanic Heritage Celebration. We honor and enjoy the rich culture and traditions of the Hispanic community. Special thank you to our sponsors, Verizon and Vamos Health. The event is filled with Spanish-speaking Disney characters, music by Senxao, dance by the Ballet Folklorico de las Americas, autographs by the Real Salt Lake Soccer Team and Mascot, and fun activities for the whole family.
An upcoming group exhibition aims to illuminate the histories of those who lived in the shadow of the transcontinental railroad. The Other Side of the Tracks is curated by Jorge Rojas and features nine multidisciplinary artists who are nationally and internationally recognized with representation in multiple communities impacted by the railroad’s construction.
This exhibition premiers at Ogden Contemporary Arts on May 3rd. VIP and Members Only Happy Hour from 4 – 6pm and will be open to the public 6-9pm.
The exhibition opens on May 6th at Ogden Contemporary Arts and will run until July 14th before traveling to RedLine Contemporary Art Center in Denver, CO, and 516 ARTS in Albuquerque, NM.
This exhibition will eventually travel to RedLine Contemporary Arts Center in Denver Colorado and 516 ARTS in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
