Second Case Of Coronavirus Confirmed In Tri-County Health District

TriCounty Health District officials have confirmed a coronavirus case in the district has been reported for Duchesne County, making it the second case for the TriCounty Health District including Uintah, Duchesne and Daggett counties.

The patient is an adult female over the age of 18 and under the age of 60 and has not been hospitalized. Officials are still investigating the source of the infection.

TriCounty Health Medical Advisor Dr. Karl Breitenbach asked people to remain vigilant regarding their personal hygiene, physical distancing, and staying home at the first sign of symptoms. Health officials are also asking residents to minimize travel within our community to help lower the risk.

The first TriCounty case was reported on Friday, March 28.
