Food With Mark Bittman On Wednesday's Access Utah
Today on the program we're discussing food, starting with the latest food movement here in the U.S., food trucks. Serving food from mobile kitchens has turned into a 800 million dollar industry, as the National Geographic recently reported, citing various economic perks of food trucks rather than brick and mortar restaurants.
We'll speak with two Utah food truck businesses. Adam Terry, owner of the truck Waffle Love, left a career in banking and found happiness in food. Then later we'll hear from Jung, Spencer, Jeremy and J, who serve Korean Barbeque from their food truck Cupbop.
In the second half of the program, former New York Times columnist Mark Bittman, joins us as he prepares for the SHIFT festival in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, this Friday. Bittman will be the keynote speaker for the event, exploring the ways we regulate our food. Mark Bittman is the author of more than a dozen books, including the newly released "How to Cook Everything Fast."
