Journalism is an industry that is built on the notion of writing the first draft of history — so what then does it mean for our history that women have largely been left out of newsrooms?

Brooke Kroeger is a journalist, a longtime journalism educator, and the author of six books, several of which are about the history of women in journalism, including Undaunted: How Women Changed American Journalism.
