Rep. Rob Bishop To Visit Multiple Northern Utah Cities On Tuesday

U.S Rep. Rob Bishop is scheduled to hold a series of town hall meetings this week. The meetings will be held Tuesday in Vernal, Wednesday in North Logan and Thursday in both Morgan and South Weber.

Wednesday's meeting is scheduled for  5:30 p.m. at Green Canyon High School in North Logan. One of the incumbent's opponents, United Party nominee Eric Eliason, is also holding a “meet the candidate” event from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Logan Library on Main St.

The candidates in the 2018 1st Congressional District general election race are Bishop, Eliason, Democrat Lee Castillo and Green Party candidate Adam Green.

Bishop is an eight-term Republican congressman and chairman of the powerful House Natural Resources Committee is running for what he says will be his final term in Congress.
