One woman is dead after an accident Sunday afternoon, but a child in the same car escaped any injury.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, Olivia Clark of Teasdale was traveling east near Koosharem on SR-24 in Sevier County. Clark tried to serve to miss a deer in the road but still ended up hitting the deer and then rolling her car.
Although she was wearing a seat belt, she died at the scene. A two-year-old boy in the back seat received no injuries.
Officials don’t believe speed or impairment were factors in the crash.
