Thanks to extra doses of the COVID-19 vaccine provided by Logan Regional Hospital, the Bear River Health Department will begin vaccinating residents over age 70 on Thursday—four days before vaccinations for this group of Utahns were expected to be available. Registration for the clinic is full, but information about future clinics will be available on the health department’s website.

In Utah, Emry, Carbon and Grand counties vaccinations are also available for residents age 70 and older. These appointments are currently full, but more will be posted online and individuals can sign up for text or email alerts to receive information about updates.

Residents of other parts of the state can find out more information about when vaccinations will be available in their regions, as well as how to schedule an appointment, by contacting their health department by phone or visiting the department’s website.
