- Logan Regional Hospital lunchtime presentation, "Living a Long, Sweet Life," on Thursday Oct. 17 at 11:45 a.m. The presentation is free, and Reservation has been closed because of limited seating. If you wish to be put on a waiting list, please email April Ashland.
- Benefit dinner at 7 p.m. Herm's Inn in Logan. Cost is $75 per person, and proceeds will support UPR's programming fund and education mission. Reserve your seat.
October 18
- Moab Regional Hospital presentation, "Three Simple Steps to Ultimate Health." Presentation begins at 5:30, with reception to follow at 6:30. Both events are free and open to the public; registration is required. To register, email Jennifer Sadoff or call her at 435.719.4076.

- A guided benefit hike in Arches National Park and lunch in Moab. Cost is $150 per person. The group will depart for hiking at 8:15 a.m. led by Tom Haraden, retired National Park Service veteran. Brunch will be served at approximately 1:00 p.m. at The Youth Garden Project with catering provided by Professional Chef Ken Moody. Reserve your space on the hike.
