Thistle and Shamrock Farewell with UPR

Thistle and Shamrock Farewell with UPR
UPR bids farewell to Thistle and Shamrock with a listening event at the Barrel and Stave in Logan on Thursday September 26th.
The popular NPR show “The Thistle and Shamrock” is ending after 41 years on air. It is a music show that explores new and traditional Celtic music in Europe and North America with interviews and conversations with singers, songwriters, and music experts. UPR has aired it for many years on Thursdays from 9-10 p.m.
We'll be wishing it a fond farewell with a special party on the evening of its second-to-last show. Whether you're a long-time fan or just looking for a fun evening with UPR, join us Thursday, September 26 from 7-10 p.m. at Barrel and Stave (33 Federal Avenue Logan, UT 84321).
Barrel and Stave will have Irish and Celtic-themed cocktails, mocktails, and food available for purchase, so you can join us for dinner or just a few drinks. Then, we'll all listen to The Thistle and Shamrock live on UPR from 9-10 p.m. for its second-to-last show.
There is no charge to attend, but it will help our preparations immensely to have an RSVP number, so let us know if you'll be joining us.
