The Utah Flower Market is a joyful celebration of abundance, beauty, and the art of locally grown flowers. Held Wednesdays from mid-April to mid-October at Grove Station in Pleasant Grove, the market bursts with color and fragrance from dozens of unique, seasonal blooms freshly harvested by local growers. From delicate ranunculus and vibrant zinnias to fragrant sweet peas and bold dahlias, each week offers something new and unexpected. Set against the backdrop of a beautifully restored venue, the market creates an immersive, sensory-rich experience where visitors are surrounded by the stunning results of Utah’s flourishing flower farms.

Whether you're a floral designer sourcing 10-stem bunches of premium blooms or a flower lover looking to create your own arrangement, the market has something for everyone. Shoppers can browse a wide variety of flower types, or head to the bouquet bar for $5 bunches to build a personalized bouquet on the spot. Meet our friendly growers, soak up the scent of flowers in the air, and enjoy a specialty soda from Grove Station's soda shop. It was a golden era for art making and the blossoming of Bay Area art due to a confluence of factors, one being the activities of the San Francisco Art Association (SFAA), a group of art enthusiasts and artists who nurtured the growth of a museum and art school (the California School of Fine Arts) and organized yearly annual exhibitions that stimulated and propelled progressive art of the time.  

The exhibition, San Francisco the Golden Years 1930-1960: Making a Scene, is drawn exclusively from the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art collection. NEHMA’s collection, with its focus on the art of the western United States, is ideally suited to provide in-depth examples of art from this little-known period in art history. This is the first major exhibition and publication to look at the pivotal and colorful history of the SFAA.

Top Sports is a league for youth and young adults ages 3 and up with disabilities to participate in sports with their peers. Indoor Soccer with Top Sports takes place Thursdays April 24th through May 22nd at the Smithfield Civic Center. $15.00 per athlete — you can register and pay at the first session. Volunteers are always needed and welcome.

The Brigham City Library Book Group will meet to discuss “Midnight in Broad Daylight: A Japanese American Family Caught Between Two Worlds” by Pamela Rotner Sakamoto on Thursday, 5 June 2025 at 7 p.m. Tracey Smith, PhD, Professor of History at Weber State University, will lead the discussion. Copies of the book may be picked up at the circulation desk of the Brigham City Library, 26 E. Forest Street, while supplies last. The discussion will take place live at the Brigham City Library. This session runs 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday - Wednesday ONLY. No camp on Thursday or Friday.

Become a time detective and learn how to decode the imprints left behind by our ancestors and the animals that once roamed the earth to unlock the mysteries of our shared past! In this camp we will explore the sciences of paleoanthropology, archaeology, and paleontology, to investigate the lives of humans, pre-humans and animals who lived long ago. From fossilized remains and evolutionary traces to ancient tools and pottery, you’ll uncover how these remnants help scientists piece together the behavior, environment, and evolution of lifeforms.

• Registration Limit: Due to Utah childcare licensing exemptions for out-of-school programs, each camper may only attend a maximum of five weeks of camp.

• Food and Drink: Pack two substantial snacks, a non-refrigerated lunch, and a water bottle daily.
