As things are beginning to reopen, we want to invite visitors to experience the wonders of Utah's Canyon Country with the San Juan Strong promise to do their part to keep us and our communities healthy.

Utah's Canyon Country is brimming with trails and wide open spaces-- perfect for escaping the indoors and to spend time recharging and solitude while basking under the southern Utah sun. From Canyonlands National Park to Lake Powell and Monument Valley, take advantage of the area's rich cultural influences by taking your kids on a homeschool field trip to see history firsthand. Explore archaeological sites, appreciate Native American culture and learn about the geological wonders that populate the landscapes of Utah's Canyon Country.

Between excursions, support local businesses. Whether that's dining in, looking for the perfect souvenir or buying groceries or supplies. As you explore, continue to follow social distancing and public health recommendations to keep both you and our community healthy. We look forward to welcoming you to Utah's Canyon Country.

Editor's Note: The audio version of this story and an earlier web version incorrectly listed Canyonlands as a National Monument, instead of a National Park. That has since been corrected.
