May brings many things to do in the garden. And if you've been to one of our garden centers here in Utah lately, you'll notice that there's a lot of people there buying plants-- lots of garden plants in particular.
Doing the right thing and growing these plants takes some knowledge. One of the best places to go get that information is to the USU Extension website. Look for the gardening tab. Under that tab there is all kinds of information about how to effectively grow plants, what they need, what pests they might experience, how to fertilize and care for them so that they will be productive and bountiful in your garden this year.
There's also other kinds of information on there. There's videos that show some of the things that need to be done. There are online courses. There is sign up for tips that come on a regular basis to your phone or to your email.
All of these places are good ways for you to learn and ensure that the plants that you buy this year and the garden plants that you grow are going to be successful and produce the product that you're looking for. So don't forget to look at gardening at USU underneath the Extension website.
