Starting Monday, all Utahns over age sixteen will be eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine as the state continues to open up appointments.According to FOX 13, residents in the new eligibility group can begin scheduling appointments beginning at 9:00 a.m. However, no appointments are available until after April 4 due to extremely high demand for vaccinations in Utah. All appointments are reportedly booked through April 3.
Utah County Health Department Spokesperson Aislynn Tolman-Hill said the state officials are feeling “quite confident” about the process and they’ve been making improvements every day since vaccination appointments opened up in December.
