West Jordan law enforcement continue to looks for leads into who shot and killed a Utah husband and wife over the weekend. 30-year-old Katherine Butterfield and her husband, 31-year-old Tony Butterfield, were found Saturday night in their home. Police believe the couple was killed during a home invasion.
Neighbors held a vigil to show support for the family. They are also raising money to go toward the care of three children who were unharmed. The youngest child is a six-month old.The West Jordan Police Department released an update on Twitter Sunday afternoon saying “progress is being made” in the search for a suspect. They said they will not be releasing any specifics to the public at this time in order to “maintain the integrity of the investigation.”
