The Utah Rivers Council has teamed up with several cities to offer $57 rain barrels as a way to conserve water and support Great Salt Lake.

Multiple cities and towns across northern Utah are partnering with the Utah Rivers Council to once again distribute the popular discounted barrels for rain water collection.

At a virtual press conference, the Utah Rivers Council announced new policy action guidelines to get more water into the shrinking Great Salt Lake.

The Utah Rivers Council, along with twelve Utah municipalities announced Tuesday the start of this year’s initiative to distribute discounted rain collection barrels across the state.
