Filing is open for candidates who are interested in replacing Cache County Executive Craig Buttars who was appointed last month as the commissioner of the state Department of Agriculture and Food. Applications are open until Jan. 15 at 5 p.m. and must be emailed to the Cache County Republican Party Chair. The new county executive will be selected by the Cache County Republican County delegates on Jan. 30. More information can be found here.
