Sundance Festival Begins This Week With Virtual, In-Person Showings

The 2021 Sundance Film Festival begins Thursday, but this year, in light of the pandemic, most of the events will be virtual.

Options for participating in the festival online can be found on the festival’s website. Tickets for screenings can be purchased online and free festival events, like panels and presentations, can be found here as well. There are also satellite theatres across the country that will be showing some of the films for in-person screenings.

According to the Utah Review, four of the documentaries and one of the narrative films premiering at the festival have ties to Utah.
