Utah is the state with the most Halloween decorations

A new study by Lombardo Homes shows that Utahns love Halloween more than any other state. The study awarded Utah with the top spot after analyzing over 1,000 Halloween decoration Google search terms to see how popular the holiday is in each state.The study found that Utah ranks first for the states that decorate most for Halloween with the skeleton being the most popular item in the state. Other popular items include pumpkins, spiders, witches and bats.

 

The top five states are Utah, Illinois, New Jersey, Texas and New Mexico.

 

The study also found that the average person spends $145 per year on Halloween decorations.
