All three COVID-19 vaccines are now available for booster shots in Utah. Health experts are urging those eligible to make an appointment before vaccine priority turns to young children.Monday was the first day all three vaccines were available. The CDC says Americans are allowed to mix-and-match vaccine brands, but most people are reportedly getting the same one they already have.
The Utah Department of Health has reported more than 112,000 Utahs have received their third dose of the Pfizer vaccine as of Oct. 20.
In order to qualify for a booster, you must have received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at least two months ago. For Pfizer and Moderna, you must be six months out from your second shot, plux aged 65 or older, have underlying medical conditions or work a high risk job.
