Utah reported nearly 2,300 cases of COVID-19 Wednesday, along with 17 additional deaths.The rolling 7-day average for positive tests is now at 1,204 per day. The rolling 7-day average for percent positivity of “people over people” is 14.3% and the rolling 7-day average for percent positivity of “tests over tests'' is 9.5%.
Among the new cases, school-aged children accounted for 444 of them. 226 cases were children ages 5-10, 102 cases in children ages 11-13, and 116 cases in children ages 14-18.
514 people in Utah are currently hospitalized with COVID-19.
With 17 additional deaths reported, Utah’s death toll now stands at 3,545.
