Receiving over 1,900 complaints from consumers during the 2022 fiscal year, Utah’s Division of Consumer Protection has revealed the state’s most common complaints.
The Division of Consumer Protection’s mission is to strengthen trust between consumers and the state’s commercial activities. The organization is just one of the seven agencies within Utah’s Department of Commerce.
Of the 1,900 complaints gathered throughout 2022, the DCP investigated roughly 1,500 of them and compiled the type of complaints into a top ten list based on how common each complaint was.
