The HOPstacle Run is an award winning Easter themed family fitness event with obstacle races and EGGtivities sponsored by Nibley Recreation. Hopstacle Run takes place Saturday April 11th at 9:00 a.m. Opportunities for 5K, 1 mile routes, kids Hopstacle routs, and volunteers are available.

The Salt Lake City Arts Council and the Salt Lake City Mayor’s Office are excited to share that A symphony of disappearing sounds for the Great Salt Lake, the signature artwork by internationally acclaimed artist Olafur Eliasson, will have nightly activations March 26th through April 4th in Memory Grove, Salt Lake City . The large-scale sound and light installation will illuminate Memory Grove every evening from March 26 through April 4, 2026, marking the culminating experience of Wake the Great Salt Lake, a citywide public art initiative raising awareness and inspiring action around the lake’s rapid decline.

The O-Sho Trail Series is a three-part 5K fun(d) run along the iconic Bonneville Shoreline Trail, designed for beginner and novice trail runners to build community and support local trail maintenance. Races take place April 9, June 4, and September 17 at 6:15 PM from the 27th Street Trailhead in Ogden. All proceeds go back to improving and maintaining the Bonneville Shoreline Trail.

Participants of all ages and abilities can run-walk-stroll through 3.1 miles of the beautiful Kayenta landscape during the Third Annual Kayenta 5K Color Fun Run on Saturday April 11th.
Each color stop on the course will feature powdered paint stations to allow participants to end the race as a colorful masterpiece. Participants are invited to enjoy a breakfast snack and beverage at the finish line while they stroll through the art of the Kayenta Street Painting Festival. Each participant will receive a race t-shirt and swag bag.
Register by March 9 for Early Bird Pricing ($35) and by March 16 to guarantee t-shirt size.
The vibrant world of chalk art is celebrated at the annual Kayenta Street Painting Festival presented by Kayenta Arts Foundation Saturday and Sunday April 11th & 12th. This year’s theme is “Under One Desert Sky” inspired by the natural beauty of the region’s desert, and the community around it. The festival brings students and professional artists together as they create the magnificent murals on asphalt canvases. Attendees are welcome to take in the views (on the sidewalk and beyond), vote for their favorite artwork, wander the Art Village galleries, enjoy food trucks, live music, and family fun.

Stokes Nature Center invites the public to enjoy an intimate evening filled with live music by the internationally recognized Fry Street Quartet. on Saturday April 14th at 6:00 p.m. Includes dinner and an opportunity to mingle with the musicians. This is a benefit concert fro the Stokes Nature Center.
