A Litany for Easter: Father Joshua Maria Santos of St. Thomas Aquinas Cathoic Church of Hyde Park

Lord have mercy on us.

Lord have mercy on us.

Christ have mercy on us.

Christ have mercy on us.

Lord have mercy on us.

Lord have mercy on us.

Christ He hears us.

Christ graciously hear us.

Lord be merciful,

Lord save your people.

From all evil,

Lord save your people.

From all sin,

Lord save your people.

From your wrath,

Lord save your people.

From a sudden and unprovided death,

Lord save your people.

From the snares of the devil,

Lord save your people.

From anger, hatred and ill will,

Lord save your people.

From the spirit of uncleanness,

Lord save your people.

From lightening and tempest,

Lord save your people.

From the scourge of earthquakes,

Lord save your people.

From plague, famine and war,

Lord save your people.

From everlasting death,

Lord save your people.

By the mystery of your holy incarnation,

Lord save your people.

By your coming,

Lord save your people.

By your birth,

Lord save your people.

By your baptism and holy fasting,

Lord save your people.

By your cross and passions,

Lord save your people.

Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world,

Spare us o Lord.

Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world,

Graciously hear us o Lord.

Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world,

Have mercy on us.

Christ He hears us.

Christ graciously hear us.

Lord Jesus hear our prayer.

Lord Jesus hear our prayer.

Lord have mercy on us.

Lord have mercy on us.

Christ have mercy on us.

Christ have mercy on us.

Lord have mercy on us.

Lord have mercy on us.

Guitar/Singing- “The Morning Has Broken”--  Mark Brunsen, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Logan

Scripture Reading- John 20:1-31 (NSVB)-- Reverend Emily Kuenker, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church of Logan, and Richard West, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Utah State University Chamber Singers-- “The King of Love my Shepherd is”

Whose goodness faileth never;

I nothing lack if I am his

And he is mine for ever.

Where streams of living water flow

My ransomed soul he leadeth,

And where the verdant pastures grow

With food celestial feedeth.

Perverse and foolish oft I strayed,

But yet in love he sought me,

And on his shoulder gently laid,

And home, rejoicing, brought me.

In death's dark vale I fear no ill

With thee, dear Lord, beside me;

Thy rod and staff my comfort still,

Thy cross before to guide me.

Thou spread'st a table in my sight;

Thy unction, grace bestoweth:

And O what transport of delight

From thy pure chalice floweth!

And so through all the length of days

Thy goodness faileth never;

Good Shepherd, may I sing thy praise

Within thy house for ever.

The Lord's Prayer- Reverend Monica Hall, Trinity Presbyrtian Church of Ogden

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Your name.

Thy kingdom come and thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil,

for Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever.

Children’s Portion

“Did Jesus Really Live Again?”-- The Children’s Songbook, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

1. Did Jesus really live again?
Yes, when the third day came,
He wakened and he left the tomb;
He called Mary’s name.

2. Did Jesus come to those he loved?
Yes, people touched his feet,
And of the fish and honeycomb
He did truly eat.

3. And there were nail-prints in his hands
And a spear wound in his side.
Did Jesus really live again
After he had died? Oh yes! And so shall I!

Easter Story, read by Tatia Nail, non-denominational Christian from Providence

“Jesus Loves Me”-- Maddie, Mason, Mack Stueber, Trinity Baptist Church of Kerrivlle, Texas.

Jesus loves me this I know

For the Bible tells me so

Little ones to Him belong

They are weak but He is strong

Yes, Jesus loves me

Yes, Jesus loves me

Yes Jesus loves me,

for the Bible tells me so

Easter Message -- Pastor Derek Forbes, First Presbyrtian Church of Logan

The Sharing of the Peace

Utah State University Chamber Singers-- “E’en So, Lord Jesus Quickly Come”

Peace be to you and grace from Him

Who freed us from our sins,

Who loved us all and shed his blood

That we might saved be.

Sing holy, holy to our Lord,

The Lord, Almighty God,

Who was and is and is to come;

Sing holy, holy, Lord!

Rejoice in heaven, all ye that dwell therein,

Rejoice on earth, ye saints below,

For Christ is coming, is coming soon,

For Christ is coming soon!

E'en so, Lord Jesus, quickly come,

And night shall be no more;

They need no light nor lamp nor sun,

For Christ will be their All!

Song: “I Know That My Redeemer Lives”-- Kathleen and Samantha Rose, Maywood, Illinois, Lutheran

1. I know that my Redeemer lives.

What comfort this sweet sentence gives!

He lives, he lives, who once was dead.

He lives, my ever-living Head.

2. He lives to bless me with his love.

He lives to plead for me above.

He lives my hungry soul to feed.

He lives to bless in time of need.

3. He lives to grant me rich supply.

He lives to guide me with his eye.

He lives to comfort me when faint.

He lives to hear my soul's complaint.

4. He lives to silence all my fears.

He lives to wipe away my tears.

He lives to calm my troubled heart.

He lives all blessings to impart.

5. He lives and grants me daily breath.

He lives, and I shall conquer death.

He lives my mansion to prepare.

He lives to bring me safely there.

6. He lives! All glory to his name!

He lives, my Savior, still the same.

Oh, sweet the joy this sentence gives:

"I know that my Redeemer lives!"

He lives! All glory to his name!

He lives, my Savior, still the same.

Oh, sweet the joy this sentence gives:

"I know that my Redeemer lives!"

Closing Prayer: Pastor Meg Vail, First Presbytrian Church of Logan

Postlude: Morman Tabernacle Choir, “Hallelujah Chorus”
