Ken Bretschneider, the founder and CEO of Evermore Park in Pleasant Grove, Utah, is suing Taylor Swift for trademark infringement.According to a report from KUTV, Bretschnieder claims Swift is using his brand on her new studio album titled “Evermore,” released at the end of last year. Bretschneider says he owns four trademarks on the word “evermore” around live performances and merchandise.
He says Swift’s legal team should be fully aware of these trademarks. According Bretschneider, his business is taking a drastic hit because of the Evermore album, internet searches now show results for Swift’s online store instead of his company’s.
In response to these claims, attorneys for Swift have said there is no basis for this claim.
