UnDisciplined: Can we predict the next snowpocalypse?

On most weeks, Matthew LaPlante is the host of UnDisciplined. Today, though, we’re turning the tables on him—asking him about his journey from a kid who nearly failed all of his science classes to becoming a science reporter and, now, an actual scientist. Matthew’s recent paper looks at the potential connections between ocean temperatures and epic winters, like the one we experienced in the Mountain West in 2022-23.
