Slain Utah Couple Was Targeted In Home Invasion, Police Say

Police are searching for a Utah man who they say forced his way into the home of a couple he knew and killed them both, leaving behind their three young children. Authorities said 31-year-old Albert Enoch Johnson was likely cut on his hands or legs by a knife during the struggle in the backyard overnight Saturday in their home in West Jordan. Police believe 30-year-old Katherine Butterfield and 31-year-old Tony Butterfield were sleeping when Johnson forced his way into the home and shot them. The couple’s three children are all under 4 years old. They were unharmed and are staying with family.
