Just days after Utah was named the hottest housing market in the nation, The National Association of Realtors ranked Salt Lake City among the top 10 U.S. commercial real estate markets. The list also includes Phoenix, Arizona, Seattle, Washington, Nashville, Tennessee and Las Vegas, Nevada in the top 10.
In a news release, NAR’s chief economist Lawrence Yun said these markets are expected to outperform the rest of the nation because they’re “generally affordable and able to draw new residents with greater flexibility to work from home.”
The results of the study were based on 25 indicators, including each area’s economy, demographics, GDP growth, unemployment rate, household income, population growth, consumer spending, rental vacancy rate and more variables.
