Utah COVID Cases Rise To Over 800

873 COVID-19 cases were reported by the Utah Department of Health on Wednesday. The state has not had over 800 cases since February. The current spike has been attributed to the Delta variant.

As a result, the seven-day average for positive cases in the state is now at 622 per day.

About 51% of Utahns have received at least one dose of the vaccination, and Utah health officials urge others who have not been vaccinated to do the same.
