The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints revealed the new name and location of the new Eugene, Oregon temple. Officials announced the official name will be Willamette Valley Oregon Temple. The new temple will be built on a 10.5 acre site at the intersection of International Boulevard and Corporate Way in Springfield, Ore. According to rendered plans, the temple will be 30,000 square feet. A construction date will be announced at a later time.
The new temple will serve more than 30,000 Latter-day Saints.
